Welcome to the SST Region 8 Library. We serve the school districts and families in

Medina
, and
Portage
Counties
. Our materials are available for loan to employees of the schools districts, district parents of children with special needs, and agencies working in the schools. Instructional materials and technology items may be borrowed only by school employees for use in the school or to loan to a parent for use at home. Parents may borrow books and videos for home use.
There is a four-item limit on materials checked out. Tests are limited to two at a time. Tests, books, and videos may be checked out for two weeks. Technology and instructional materials may be checked out for a month. It is very important to return materials by the due date given as others are often waiting for these same items.
Items may be borrowed by visiting the library, contacting Alice Doyle (330-929-6634 or 1-800-228-5715), or by choosing items through our Online Catalog.
Courier Service
Courier service is available to the school districts in our three county region. Below is a schedule of days the couriers come to SST Region 8.
- Medina County - Tuesday/Thursday
- Portage County - Tuesday/Thursday
- Summit County - Northern Portion - Monday/Wednesday
- Summit County - Southern Portion - Tuesday/Thursday
The courier delivers and picks up at SST Region 8 on the designated days. Receipt of items may be a day later depending on their drop off schedule at your board office. If unsure of what day you receive delivery of materials, please contact your
